Recommended tourist attractions and restaurants in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, korea

I went on a trip to Gangwon-do, Korea. I would like to recommend trip course in Gangwon-do.
I hope this article will help you with your trip to Korea.

 

1. food : Changdae Restaurant(창대 식당)
Gangwon-do is famous for potatoes, and 'potato ongsimi' is the representative food. So I ordered two potato ball soup noodles(감자 옹심이 칼국수).
It was difficult to communicate with the boss, so the food almost came out wrong, but it was a good restaurant.
 

2. food : Sacheon Pogu Sashimi Restaurant(사천포구 횟집)
I went to a raw fish restaurant near my accommodation because I wanted to eat raw fish soup.
We ate 'raw fish soup'(물회) and sushi, but when we looked around, other customers ate a lot of steamed cypress(편백찜) or course meals.
Grilled fish and seaweed soup(미역국) were served as side dishes, and the taste of the main dish, cold raw fish, was also good.
 

3. a spicy seafood soup with soft bean curd per second(초당명가짬뽕순두부)
Gangneung has a famous jjamppong soft tofu street. There was a really famous house, and the waiting was too long.

Most houses have more than five teams of waiting,
I came into the house without waiting.
A restaurant without waiting is also delicious, but I think the taste around here is more than normal!

I ordered beef brisket jjamppong soft tofu, and my boyfriend ordered jjamppong soft tofu.
Chadol jjamppong soft tofu had a deep taste, including the greasy taste of the meat, and jjamppong soft tofu had a spicy and clean taste, but in my personal taste, regular jjamppong soft tofu was more delicious!
If two people come, I recommend ordering it differently and tasting it.
 

4. tourist attractions  : Saganjin Beach(사근진 해변)
I went to Sageunjin beach after lunch.
At Sageunjin Beach, we looked at the sea and took many pictures at the colorful breakwater.

5. tourist attractions : Daegwallyeong sheep ranch(대관령 양떼목장)
Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch is a course that can be enjoyed by families, couples, and friends as you can see sheep and experience feeding them at a large ranch.
If you visit in winter, you can see something like Frozen.
 

6. tourist attractions : Seoraksan Mountain
Seoraksan Mountain is 1,707.9 m above sea level. It is the highest in the Taebaek Mountains and the third highest in South Korea after Hallasan Mountain (1,950 m) and Jirisan Mountain (1,915 m). Seoraksan Mountain is famous for its beautiful fall foliage. It is a popular tourist destination because you can see beautiful scenery even in winter.
 
That's all I've prepared. Gangwon-do has many places to see, such as Gangneung and Pyeongchang, and there are mountains and seas, so you can enjoy wonderful nature. If you visit Korea, I recommend a trip to Gangwon-do.
